Chemistry

Our chemistry course is a blast (don’t worry, we’re not talking about real explosions).

What we mean is that, like all of Dr. Dan’s classes, this is a fun, hands-on class.  See do and hear how things respond and interact.  See how common household items can be used to make science fun.  There’s a ton of doing in this class, much more than a typical student would get in a home classroom setting.

Dr. Dan proves that your student really can can balance equations, it’s not that hard once you see Dr. Dan’s Chemistry Roadmap©.

Some math is involved, but for those who are less inclined toward the insides of living things, there is no dissection.

Biology is an AP course (advanced placement) and can lay the groundwork for students who want to use the College Level Examination Program to “CLEP” out of college courses and get a jump on their higher level educational career.

Prerequisites: Physical and General Science with Dr. Dan and algebra.  If you feel that your student has the equivalent from another program, submit your application for review by Dr. Dan.  If the student is at a satisfactory level of learning they can still be accepted into the class.
